Privacy First: Meeting Magic is designed with privacy at its core. All audio recording, transcription, and AI processing happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your meeting data.
This Privacy Policy describes how Meeting Magic ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Meeting Magic mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Our Privacy-First Approach
Meeting Magic is built on a fundamental principle: your meeting data never leaves your device.
- On-Device Processing: All audio recording, speech-to-text transcription (WhisperKit), and AI analysis (Apple Foundation Models) run locally on your iPhone or iPad.
- No Cloud Upload: Your meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, and action items are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
- No Account Required: You can use the app without creating an account or providing any personal information.
2. Data We Collect
We collect NO personal data. Meeting Magic does not require any account, does not collect analytics, and does not track your usage.

4. On-Device AI Processing
Meeting Magic uses the following technologies, all running locally on your device:
- WhisperKit: An on-device speech-to-text model that converts your audio recordings into text. The model runs entirely on your device's Neural Engine.
- Apple Foundation Models: Apple's on-device AI models (iOS 26+) generate summaries, extract action items, and create meeting titles without sending data to any server.
- Apple Speech Framework: Powers voice Q&A functionality for asking questions about your meetings.
- NLEmbedding: Enables semantic search across your meetings using on-device natural language processing.
None of these technologies transmit your data off your device.
5. Local Data Storage
All your meeting data is stored locally on your device:
- Audio Files: Stored in WAV format in the app's local storage
- Database: SQLite database with FTS5 full-text search indexes stored locally
- Complete Control: You can delete any or all meetings at any time through the app
When you delete the app, all local data is automatically removed from your device.
6. Third-Party Services
Meeting Magic does not integrate with any third-party services that could access your meeting data. There are:
- No analytics SDKs
- No advertising networks
- No cloud AI services
- No crash reporting tools that transmit data
7. Device Permissions
Meeting Magic requires the following device permissions:
- Microphone: Required to record meetings. Audio is processed and stored locally only.
- Speech Recognition: Required for voice Q&A feature. All recognition happens on-device.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.
8. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone because we do not have access to your data. Your meeting recordings, transcripts, and summaries exist only on your device.
The only way data leaves your device is if you choose to share it using iOS's built-in share functionality (e.g., sharing a summary via Messages or Email).
9. Your Rights
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Access: View all your meetings and their content directly in the app
- Deletion: Delete individual meetings or all data at any time
- Export: Share summaries and action items using iOS share functionality
- Portability: Your data is yours; we have no copies
10. Children's Privacy
Meeting Magic is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Post a notice in the App for material changes
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
